What are the differences between WinScript, WinScript Live and WinScript 4

WinScript is the brand name of the software that is used to program our show controllers. Throughout the years, we have created different version which are designed to work with particular versions of the controllers. Here is a list of all them:

 

WinScript

This is the original Windows 3.1 version of WinScript.

Works with:

 V16+, V4+, V2+, InterActivator, IO64, and DMX Machine.

*Not used any more

 

WinScript 2.0

Works with:

V16+, V4+, V2+, InterActivator, IO64, and DMX Machine.

*Requires latest firmware for product

 

Winscript Live 3 (legacy)

It provides live programming without the need for compile and download.

Works with:

V4Pro, V16Pro and VCore.

* Firmware in the controllers must be no higher than V1.75

 

WinScript Live 4

WinScript Live is the programming software and Touch interface for the V16Pro, V4Pro and VCore Show Controllers. Now includes Show Touch software and Product File Creator.

Works with:

V4Pro, V16Pro and VCore.

*Controller must have Firmware V1.85 or above
